Bill and Katie settled in the beautiful Hill Country of Hunt Texas, where they raised a family and have ranched for the past 33 years. While living at and managing Honey Creek Ranch for the past 30 years, and owning Double Shot Ranch alongside our son Jake, we are responsible for the breeding, raising, sales of animals and all hunting operations.
With the Henderson family being in the ranching business we have raised many types of animals. From beef cattle to roping cattle, from Boer/ Spanish goats to the exotic Ibex goats, from Iranian Red Sheep to the Transcaspian Urial Sheep, and horses for several different events and use on the ranch. Each time being successful, but as any rancher will tell you, always having some setbacks such as, cost of feed, lack of pasture (due to drought), parasites, predators and not to mention, the lack of time to mend fence, fix water troughs and daily care and feeding.
But we have always had a passion to find a way to have healthier, higher producing animals without breaking our pocketbook, and started our business "Over-All Nutrition". It has been a long 5 years of trial and error and trial again, but we have now come up with a great product for the over all nutrition of all livestock and wildlife animals. With the help of a nutritionist and people willing to use and test our product we are on the fast track to meet our goal.
We started by feeding our product to our beef cattle and noticed a difference in weight gain, conception, healthy coat and higher weaning weights. With this knowledge we started to create and come up with a formula that could benefit our exotic sheep and goats and in this process realized we had a product that works for all livestock and wildlife species.
Now with a new marketing program and many great testimonials we are ready to share our passion and great products with you! We now offer our "THIS IS IT" formula for horses, beef cattle, goats, deer and non-sheep wildlife species. And our "DOUBLE SHOT BLEND" with a lower copper levels for sheep, camelid (camel, llama, alpaca) and other wildlife species.
